In my life, there have been so many that weren’t good at first, then, later (in some cases years later), I saw how they benefitted me.
That said, spontaneous negativity is a natural reaction to an unpleasant event. Let it be, and it flows and goes on its own (in my experience, anyway). Lasting judgment, however, can keep me from seeing the benefit in a “bad” twist of fortune. So I try to refrain from deliberately focusing on lasting judgment. Not as a matter of idealism–at this point in my life, it’s actually a matter of day-to-day practicality.
