Now It’s The Windows

A man stands in the rain, gazing at a dark, stormy scene reflected in a window. The reflection shows a fantasy landscape with a castle and soldiers in armor amidst a dramatic sky.

At first, it was only the doors.

Brief flashes.

Moments where Dragon World appeared on the other side before reality snapped back into place.

Jon told himself he could handle that.

He adapted.

Or at least tried to.

But then the visions changed.

Because now—

it wasn’t just the doors anymore.

It was the windows.

Storefront glass.

Car windows.

Dark reflections late at night.

Even puddles after rain.

Dragon World kept appearing inside surfaces that should have reflected ordinary life.

Except they didn’t.

Not anymore.

Now Jon would glance at a passing reflection—

and see armored soldiers marching through ruined cities.

Storm-dark towers rising beneath impossible skies.

Creatures moving in the distance before vanishing a second later.

And every time it happened—

the visions lasted slightly longer.

Clearer.

Closer.

As though Dragon World itself was slowly pushing toward him.

Or worse—

pulling him toward it.

That was the realization Jon couldn’t escape anymore.

This wasn’t random.

This wasn’t imagination.

Something was happening to him.

And whatever waited on the other side of those reflections—

it was getting closer.
