Regarding contentment and/or stalling in life, I suspect we’re all given a choice: do we keep following synchronicities, our hunches and possibly irrational inspirations? Or do we constrict everything into numbers on a balance sheet, and never make a move without weighing the odds?

Maybe I’m deluded, but I believe gratification lies in pursuing our dreams, even if only for five minutes a day (which I’ve had to do in a literal sense, with a digital timer marking the seconds). I believe that tunes us to an abundance of possibility, and surprises us with reasons to dream, hope, and receive.

Or maybe its better to never pursue my authentic desires, and prioritize the practical above all else, without ever pursuing my hopes and close-held dreams.

Personally, I hope that’s not the case.

  1. Follow your dreams wherever they may lead …

  2. And believe in yourself

  3. I’ve been a number cruncher before and didn’t get much fulfillment out of it. I chose to take the leap and follow my dreams and while it can be amazing and inspirational it can also be a little terrifying hoping things will turn out for the best. I think that ultimately, we all have to make the choice that we can live with based on what’s most important to us and how much we’re willing to risk.
