When I was younger, I tried to brute-force everything through logic and effort. For some reason, that never yielded the outcome I wanted. Or, if it did, it wasn’t satisfying and didn’t feel like it was worth it.
As I’ve gotten older, I abide more and more in the mindset of “Let the chips fall where they may.” And surprisingly enough, they seem to fall in the right place; if not immediately, then a little further down the line, with arguably better timing. I’m not sure why that is (I have my suspicions). I’m just glad that it seems to work out.
