On my creative process…

I view myself more as a sculptor or whittler than an inventor. I see a couple scenes and climactic moments, produce a sloppy block of clunky material (my draft), then whittle and chip and shave at its edges, until I clarify the energy from my rough-hewn vision, to the point where I feel it’s communicated to the best of my ability.
