  23. Yes, you have to write something down or you’ll never have anything to edit.

    1. Agree with you…I write and write and then edit. And edit some more.

  25. That’s true. The first draft is nearly always a mess. But it has to be done!

  26. Yes, because I do a lot of that. I always think my writing needs constant editing. And then I’m like. Just post it already….can someone critique my piece? I promise my feelers won’t be hurt.

  27. Great advice 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

  28. I like it. I was drawn into the story right away. Felt like I was getting my own ass kicked. That training scene, with the running uphill took me back to
“Sand Hill” at Fort Benning. 👍🏿

  29. Thanks, for reading, and your star ⭐ on my first post of
” A Texas Tale, ” there will be more. I’m striving to become a great storyteller. So, I’ll be reading more of your stories also.

  30. Thank you for this. I like to write. I write badly. Writing makes me feel better. Thank you for the green light.

  31. Same here … I basically word vomit all over the page and then let it set for a day or two before I go back through and make it make sense!

  32. Yeah, man!

Just get the words down and sharpen them later.

  33. Thank you. I like your Chapter 1. Your writing style is very good. Hope you’re published by an ebook or physical book company.

    1. Yep, I’ve published 8 books. Thank you for the compliment!
