Man Child Mondays #23

True story:  when your favorite author (and perennial Man Child) Kent Wayne was but a little tyke, he was convinced that flushing the toilet would accidentally tear a hole into another dimension and invite horrors without names into the bathroom.  Today I face my destiny; I will flush my toilet and blast the face off whatever comes from its arcane depths.

…I know:  I should be writing.

  1. First thought: worst. roommate. ever.
    LOL

    1. “Man Child.” Says it all, LOL! XD

  2. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets?

    1. Haven’t read or seen it. Nah—this is actually a true story, hahaha!

  3. O M G. I know it is true that little kids do not like to flush the toilet, it is thought because they do not want to flush a part of themselves. So you are not that far off. But now that you are grown up you have added a gun into the mix. When you start blowing holes in the wall your landlady is going to put you out. (Sherlock Holmes did that).

    1. Hahaha! Which version? Robert Downey Jr., Benedict Cumberbatch, or the guy in the books?

      1. Yea, Benedict, he said “The wall had it coming.”

      2. Gotcha. Still have yet to see season 3 of sherlock, It’s on my list of to-dos. 🙂

  4. Anything come out yet? I mean as opposed to any other day 🙄

    1. I killed the toilet demon, gained 1000 experience points, and now I’m a level 14 Man Child! 😀

      1. That’s a very productive Monday 🌟 I hope you received your level 14 badge and sew it on carefully to your booty shorts!

      2. XD I need a badge! I need an official uniform that includes booty shorts!

  5. You still standing there??

  6. You should be writing…but flush first!

    1. Demons vanquished! Back to writing lol!

  7. Flushing toilets are a freaky concept. Weapons totally justified. Dreamcatcher (2003), anyone? Just landed on MCM, much lols. Even with the anonymity you’re brave! Love the liberties taken, love the playful humour!

    1. I can’t believe how scared I was of them as a kid. I kept thinking they were portals into hell realms 🤣
